On May 29, 2015, Minister April Bowman, M.S., heard God’s call clearly: people are dying and don’t know Jesus, do something. Unite my people across the globe. So she did. On July 1, 2016,

Bold Believers United Ministries was publicly launched.

Bold Believers United is a Dallas-Fort Worth-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization on a mission to Awaken. Equip. Activate. Through programs, events, discipleship, and transformative experiences, we serve youth, young adults, women, and families, developing the whole person, mind, body, soul, and spirit, so they can step boldly into their God-given potential.

We believe healed people heal people. Healthy families build healthy communities. And love has the power to transform everything it touches.

On July 1, 2026, we celebrate 10 years of God's faithfulness and we are just getting started.

April Bowman M.S.

Founder & Executive Director

Empowering people to reach their full potential is at the core of everything that April Bowman, M.S. does. She has worked in the field of education for over 14 years and has impacted over 20,000 young people across the country. Her experience ranges from leading afterschool programs and summer camps with Parks and Recreation, coaching and consulting with non-profits, schools and foundations, college and career guidance counseling across middle/high schools and colleges, working in student affairs at Northwestern University, being the inaugural Director of Alumni Programs for Uplift Education – the largest charter school in North Texas, facilitating trainings on how to talk to about race, racism and equity through the Center for Racial Justice in Education to now leading Bold Believers United. April has a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion across her roles as Founder, CEO, Educator, Consultant, Speaker, Trainer, and Minister. She truly exemplifies servant leadership
