It Started With A Call
On May 29, 2015, Minister April Bowman, M.S. received a charge that she couldn't ignore.
People were dying without knowing Jesus. Communities were hurting. Families were fracturing. And in the middle of it all, God gave her a clear and urgent directive: Do something. And unite my people across the globe.
So she did.
On July 1, 2016, Bold Believers United was born, not out of a business plan, but out of obedience. A response to a divine call to unite God's people across the globe and bring the life-changing power of the Gospel to those who needed it most.
Ten years later, that obedience has become a movement.
Who We Are
Bold Believers United is a 501(c)3 Christian nonprofit organization based in Dallas-Fort Worth and reaching far beyond.
We exist to Awaken. Equip. Activate.
We awaken believers to their identity and purpose in Christ. We equip them with the tools, community, and experiences they need to grow. And we activate them to boldly step into the world and make a difference in their families, neighborhoods, and spheres of influence.
We believe the Church was never meant to stay within four walls. We believe people were made for more. And we believe that bold faith and LOVE, lived out loud, has the power to change everything.
What We Do
Bold Believers United serves youth, young adults, women, and entire families through a holistic approach to discipleship and community transformation.
Our work is built on a simple but powerful truth: when you develop the whole person, mind, body, soul, and spirit, you help unlock their God-given potential.
Through programs, events, discipleship, and transformative experiences, we walk alongside people in every season of life, helping them move from broken to healed, from lost to found, from surviving to thriving.
We lead youth programs that plant seeds of faith and purpose early. We create spaces for women to be restored, renewed, and reminded of who God says they are. We host family-focused experiences that strengthen the bonds that communities are built on. And we invest in young adults standing at the crossroads, helping them step forward with clarity and courage.
Why We Do It
We believe in a ripple effect.
Healed people heal people. Whole people help others become whole. Free people have the courage to help set others free.
When an individual is transformed from the inside out, that healing flows into their home. Their family becomes healthier. That healthy family pours into their community. And transformed communities change cities.
This is what we have witnessed over the decade of our work.
We do what we do because love has the power to transform, and we have seen that power at work in real people, in real places, in real time.
10 Years of Faithfulness
On July 1, 2026, Bold Believers United celebrates 10 years.
Ten years of God's faithfulness. Ten years of grace sustaining what human effort alone could never hold together. Ten years of saying yes when the assignment felt too big, and watching God show up.
In that time, we have reached thousands of people across Dallas-Fort Worth, nationally, and beyond. We have seen young people step into their calling, women walk into healing, families restored, and communities strengthened.
And we are just getting started.
What's Next
We are entering our second decade with BOLD expectation and remaining committed to whatever God asks of us next. That means continued obedience, expanded programs, and deeper impact in the lives of the people we serve.
